Recognise this statue?
It's now installed in pride of place at the entrance to Our Lady Quen
of Apostles Church
at Bishop's Waltham - the parish church which is now situated at the bottom
of the Burma Road,
with the Priory cemetery close by in the grounds.

Recognise this card? I feel that I should know this one well
but I can't place it.Is it a copy of a large picture that hung in
The Priory chapel, for example?
Mick Mearns can't remember it and thinks that it was probably
an ordination card.
Maurice Billingsley writes :
"I think this card had a prayer for Africa on the back;
there may
still be one in my Liber Usualis at Templeogue."
Bob Griffin writes (9-9-06):
"This picture . . . was used by Hugh Regan for his ordination
card. His ordination was 16th May 1957 at Galashiels."
(Click here to see Fr Regan's obituary).

The pictures that follow are photocopies which Derek Biewer sent in.
They will be replaced by the originals, if Tommy Mackle still has them
and will lend them to me.

Rhetoric 1947-48
What did we keep in those cupboards - or was it just panelling?
Mick Mearns remembers that they were filled with textbooks.
