Broome Hall 2005
The swimming pool that was enjoyed by so many
—not least the young girls who lived on site with their mother.

Question : Who is gazing thoughtfully at what remains of the pool ?
Answer
: Susanne Lamb (née Scott) whose family lived at BH in the early 60's.
(Susanne wrote 18-09-09 to confirm this).

Susanne isn't quite sure now (Octover 2008)

Tom Canning puts the record straight (February 2009) :
" The lady gazing in to the old pond is Mary my wife in 2005. "

The old swimming pool.

It must be strange to see what has survived all these years.

Taken from GALLERY Page 31 :

" A delightful contribution from the family album of Anne-Thérese Scott-Abbott, daughter of Mrs Anne Scott who was Cook at Broome Hall in the sixities.

In 1963 the family moved to Broome Hall: Susanne was 16, Michael was 13, Anne-Theresé was 10 and Jacqueline was 6.

If you remember them, they would love to hear from you:Anne-Thérese: annetherese@ukonline.co.uk
Susanne: susannelamb@yahoo.com "
