New Provincial in USA

Congratulation to Father John Lynch WF who has been appointed as the new Provincial of the White Fathers in the United States. He comes from Newmills, Fife. Ordained in 1962, Father Lynch was first appointed to Uganda but due to ill-health was unable to go there. He taught for some years at the junior seminaries of the White fathers in England and Scotland before being appointed to Rutherglen for missionary promotion work where he served for six years until joining the United States Province in 1972. In 1986 Father Lynch attended the General Chapter of the Society as a delegate for the USA. Our very best wishes and prayers go to Father, as he begins his three year term of office.
