John Lynch

on Friday the 22nd of September 2017 at St Petersburg (USA)
at the age of 81 years, of which 56 years of missionary life
in Scotland and in the United States.

Milestones of Father John Lynch’s life

John was born on the 18th April 1936 at Newmills in the Diocese of Edimburgh in Scotland. He entered the Spiritual Year on the 8th September 1957 at ‘s-Heerenberg in the Netherlands, then continued his theological formation in Carthage (Tunisia) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 27th June 1961. He was ordained to the priesthood not far from his native town at Oakley in Scotland on the 30th June 1962.

at the age of 71 years, of which 28 years of missionary life
in Sudan, Italy, Kenya and Great-Britain.

Milestones in the life of Father Paul Hannon

Paul was born on November 6, 1947 in South Shields, in the diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, Great Britain. He was accepted into the novitiate of the Missionaries of Africa on September 6, 1987 in Fribourg (Switzerland), then continued his theological formation in Toulouse (France) where he took his missionary oath on December 15, 1990. He was ordained the following year, on July 6, in Newcastle (Great Britain).

at the age of 69 years, of which 39 years of missionary life
in Nigeria, Great Britain and Ireland.

Milestones in Father John Millane’s life

John was born on the 19th of May 1949 at Thurles, in the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly, in Ireland. He entered the Spiritual Year of the Missionaries of Africa on the 21st of September 1974 in Mours (France). He then continued his theological studies at Totteridge (UK) where he took his Missionary Oath on the 26th of May 1979. He was ordained to the priesthood in Dublin (Ire) on the 7th of July 1979.
