Tony Smyth was persuaded to part with these photos, which I thought would be of interest to
those of you out there must have known him in one of these stages of his life.

Left: 1955 at St. Michaels on Brunel Terrace, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Right: 1968 at St. Augustine's College, Blacklion, Co. Cavan

Left: 1973, while at Theology in Ottawa.
The photo was taken during the summer while he was
working at the White Fathers' Family Camp ('Camp Lavigerie')
at Onchiota, NY in the Adirondack mountains.

(Look up Page 61 of the Gallery to see a photo sent from the US about this camp).

Right: the latest disguise, taken 2000 - 01

Tony came from Newcastle originally and is now living in Ottawa,
Canada, where he works as a computer technician.

Since writing that, Tony has moved back to the UK, near Manchester

Is anyone else brave enough to send me their own collection?
Or have you, like me, reached that stage in life where even
old passport photos look surprisingly good now?
