You could have saved The Priory from demolition
if you had had your offer in to Fox & Sons before 12 noon on Thursday, 14th July 1988.
For much of the period from 1967 to '88, The Priory was used as a Police Cadet Training College.
This is the front cover of the document put out by the agents.
It contains some fascinating information which I shall extract
at a later date and put onto the website for you to see - though
Peter Finn's excellent History of The Priory covers this period
quite thoroughly, of course.

Bishop's Waltham Infant School (now closed).
Personally, I don't remember this building, though it has always been at the bottom of Albert Road
and I must have past it dozens of times on the way out of College (to Galleydown and the village etc)

I find this really sad. Even the groundfloor windows are boarded up.
Have you noticed how they wait until your back is turned and then knock down another bit of your past?
