John Brighouse writes June 2014:

"When travelling to Hampshire in connection with work early in 1993, I decided to take a short detour to Bishop's Waltham. I had not been back to The Priory since I left in 1967.

I was surprised and shocked with what greeted me: I had happened upon the demolition of the building. It seemed a sad end. The facts are covered in Peter Finn's fine history.

I took some photographs, which I attach and which will, I hope, add something to the story".
