Patricia writes (June 2010) : " Blacklion has only got one street, so to speak,
and it hasn't changed that much.  Our old house has now been purchased by
Neven Maguire  (the T.V. chef and owner of the famous  McNean Restaurant)
and will be turned into a cookery school.   In the photo above, the restaurant is
the building with the stone front and what was our house beside it, now turned
into apartments, with two premises underneath.

" I thought I would send you this -- Brother Paddy's ghost tractor maybe . . .
Not really, but I was driving into Blacklion behind this old tractor in the snow

Mike's mother on Blacklion's 'High Street', Easter 1960

" We ate lunch at Bud Greene's place, later. My parents stayed with Mary McGovern,
who was the aunt of Kevin McGlynn, a student at St Augustine's 1960-62.
Mary lived about halfway to the college from Blacklion."
