Summer of  '85
—stage de langue (cont)

"We're gathering to watch the broadcast of 'Live Aid'.

Zulnea waas the community's cook. A student never forgets a good, friendlycook!

Some of us weren't too impressed by some of the performers. (Led Zeppelin were hugely under-performing). But we all thought it was fabulous that so many successful musicians were so willing to do it to help alleviate suffering. We all thought Status Quo were immensely good—an inspired starting act !! This is Francis Lange and Michel Girard having a laugh.
We younger guys benifited greatly from their maturity . . .

"Sister Rachel Bissomette, White Sister, a source of
anglophone sanity for those of us adjusting linguistically.
Here she is showing Michael O'Sullivan and me the world beyond the house.

I'm not very well on this particular day. Hugh Seenan is taking the photos.
Later, the chocolate helped . . . "
