Thanks are due to Tom Canning for this and many pages that follow —over 60 photos, in fact.
Tom was at Broome Hall in 1967. Although he has provided many details himself,
he would be grateful for any further suggestions as to names and places.

Taken on a day trip to Bognor. Date ?

(Is that Peter Smith on the right ? Was the trip part of a Priory day out ?)

Tom Canning writes (February 2009) :
" Not Jerry Short, I think, but a Novice called Peter Smith.
All the children in the pictures were on holiday at BH for two weeks.
They all had special needs and two of us were given responsibility
to look after them. This visit to Bognor was the highlight of the week,
they enjoyed it. I got sunstroke!!  "

Tom thinks that the main celebrant is Fr Hugh Regan

(Fr Regan was on the staff at The Priory in 1960).

Is that Fr Pat Shanahan on the right ?
(But Pat was ordained in 1966).

Who was the altar server and the other celebrant ?

The priests were just visiting the house for a few days.

" A day trip to Gatwick Airport.
Brother Gavera (centre)
During the walk Bro Gavera nearly fell into a ditch LAUGHING.
He thought it so funny that someone from this country
had not been on a plane and had never visited a airport. "
