Eric Creaney came down from the attic with these period pieces. Sincere thanks are due to Eric, once again,
for unearthing these unique records. Hopefully, people will be able to use the lists he provides to identify
individuals on several other pages as well.

It was quite a cold winter that year (1963)

Eric at the Isle of White

Eric writes (July 2008) : "During Easter Week of '63 Peter Stouthandel and myself cycled
from Totteridge to the Priory and after an overnight stay we headed for the Solent and
cycled round the Isle of Wight and back to the Priory. The photos show Peter relaxing
at Brook Down looking across Compton Bay to the Needles and myself on the other side
of the Needles at Alum Bay admiring The Needles and little knowing then that my future
was not as a White Father but as a Geology Tutor.

Eric writes (July 2008) :

"A small group attended the YCW conference in Newcastle in the Summer holidays of '63.
I think the giant at the back is Wolfgang Schonecke and I am just under his head among
all my girlfriends (real early 60s fashion and the Beatles were just hitting it big!)."
