" Picture of St Columba’s circa 1950s given to me by my primary school teacher when
she found out I was going to St Columba’s.  She was a staunch Roman Catholic who had
a personal ambition of getting as many of her pupils packed off to a seminary as she could! "

(Women just like to know where men are, Mike).

"
The new front door to St Columba’s.  I remember fire drills down
the scaffolding. The Fathers didn’t realize why it was taking so long
until one of them noticed the same faces going past more than once! "

(Mike is now a headteacher. No comment.)
