Robbie Dempsey is at the front, second on the left.

Michael Gallagher writes (Jauary 2011):
". . . . I believe the person at Robbie Dempsey’s left shoulder is Fr Albert Nyssens,
a Belgian WF who was my Novice Master in Fribourg, Switzerland 1972-73.
He also appears in the first photo on Page 312 taken during my time there."

Robbie Dempsey replies :
"Yes, Mike, that's Pr. Albert Nissens behind me.
Maurice and I wrote to him a couple of years ago on
his 70th birthday in Belgium. He was retired from many years
in the Congo, Bukavu, I think he said.

In the same photo , Claude Rault (with cigarette) is standing
behind Albert. Claude is now bishop of Laghouat-Ghardaia -
he has a monthly bulletin (which I always read) at the WF website
http://www.africamission-mafr.org
but you must check under the French version as it does not
appear in the English version."

Can YOU supply any more names, please ?

" Serre Eyraud, near Gap, where some of us first learned French.

The group in front of the guest house ncludes local youth group members
plus Josef and bike, three Spaniards and a Lebanese Maronite who did the year with us.
We had decorated the house in the autumn but this was taken after Easter, I think. "

The bar at Totteridge

This must have been at the time of the diaconal ordinations in 1971, I think.
(L-R) :

Vince Fox SVD
, Andre Filion, Winfried Hartwig and Maurice Billingsley.
The visitors may have been Clement's relatives "

Maurice writes (January 2011) :
" It is Gilles Matourel. He is WF in Africa.
Here he is in the bar at Totteridge - with Andre etc:
Clement Forestier (WF), now in Niger, is 4th right, among his family."
