The final pageof Jan Spierings' photos—a man of such faith that he
unstuck these pictures from his photograph albums and sent them off
into the darkness across the Channel. Thank you Jan for the trouble
that you took and all those careful annotations that you made.

" Totteridge: the rugby team, 1960-61"

Maurice Billingsley
writes (January 2011) :

Rugby team: 1st L back row: Pierre Federle, now at Paris house, formerly
Petit Echo editor. Christofer Mwoleka also known as 'the barefoot bishop';

Andre Filion says that Christofer spent a lot of time
in the villages in his diocese, among the people.

" Totteridge: Ordinations 1962
Everyone was ordained in their home country : my Dutch class went to Holland from France, Belgium,
England and Canada — and were ordained in two groups of 8, north and south (Sautpoort and Breda) for
'propaganda' purposes. Numbers were dwindling. Originally, we were a group of 16, but every year this reduced
in size. The African on the left was the future Mgr Christofer Mwoleka of Rulenge, Tanzania.
"

Jan adds
"Archives must have the names of all these Ordinands."
