This booklet was produced for the occasion and given to invited members of the congregation. It acted as a guide to the ordination ceremony itself and included a background to the White Fathers as a missionary order. This is ‘one that got away’ – John Byrne was given the job of writing some of the invitations for
the opening of the new chapel in Blacklion in April 1966, and managed to write two to the Priory
– he hid this one (to hide his shame).
