Leo Smith, taken in Dublin (1951)

Leo had a fine tenor voice. I've often wondered whether he made a career from singing.

Five years after this photo was taken, Leo visited The Priory as an 'Old Boy' and gave us an excellent concert.

Peter Finn writes (10-02-2006) :
" The picture of Leo Smith was taken when we were camping in the Wicklow Hills, Co. Dublin, in 1951. He did become a professional singer. "

Fr Andy Murphy in The Priory grounds — 1946

Quote from Peter Finn's "History of The Priory" :

"The first term after the end of the war in 1945 started with 30 boys.
It was not until September 1946 that the school resumed, to a
large extent, its pre-war life with 80 students."
