Dr Mike Goodstadt came over to the UK from Toronto in October (2004)
and spent a couple of weeks with his brother Paul. They took time to
visit St Boswell's and Dryburgh, meeting up with John Martin and his wife,
who now own "the farm". Mike took some excellent photos, some of
which are displayed on this page.

I couldn't resist a close-up. Don't they look in good shape ?

(Do you remember how much Mike used to run at The Priory ? He's carried on almost every day since then, so no wonder he looks so fit).

John Martin. holding a now-disused road sign to the White Fathers'.

(I must check with John Fowles about the use of that apostrophe).

Nearly 50 years ago, Leo Clancy and Pat MacDonald carved their names into this tree
on the way to Dryburgh. The date seems to read 1956, but this is a year after they had moved
on to The Priory.

Does anyone know the answer to this mystery ?

We've already got a photo of these graves at St Columba's,
but this is such a good version. (2004)

(Looking all the better for the cleaning that was done at the last reunion there).

And this is a better photo of the old/ new chapel — which is now a conference room, of course.
