Chris Campbell recently sent me this label and wrote :

" . . . and here's a White Fathers' wine label from their vinyard in Tunisia. I'm not sure how old it is. My father went through there during WW2 but I think that he obtained it later."

And Chris Mearns wrote to me about this wine last year but I seem to have lost all but the folowing comment from his email :

" By the way the "Thibarine" tastes just like alcholic cough linctus. I'll try a little soda with it next time."

Is anybody able to provide any background to this little bit of WF History ?
